This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the QuizRace Terms of Use. It applies to all Accounts, Games, Your Content, prompts, uploaded media, display names, links and AI output. Its purpose is to protect Players, rights-holders and the Service.
1 Lawful and Safe Use
1.1 You must use QuizRace only for lawful quiz, learning, training, event and engagement activities and in accordance with the QuizRace Editorial Guidelines. You must take into account the age, vulnerability and context of your audience. Hosts must review all content and AI output before presenting it.
1.2 You must not submit, generate, share or promote any material that: (a) is illegal, fraudulent or deceptive; (b) exploits or endangers Children; (c) contains sexual abuse material, pornography or non-consensual intimate content; (d) threatens, harasses or humiliates any person; (e) promotes hatred or discrimination; (f) glorifies or provides instruction in terrorism, violence, self-harm or dangerous conduct, other than in the context of responsible education; (g) is defamatory, invades privacy or discloses confidential data; (h) infringes the rights of any person; (i) impersonates any person; (j) contains malware, spam or malicious links; or (k) is likely to cause serious harm.
1.3 Sensitive subjects may be addressed for a legitimate educational purpose only where the content is accurate, proportionate, age-appropriate and clearly framed, and does not provide operational instructions for causing harm.
2 People, Information and Account Integrity
2.1 You must not ask Players for passwords, payment data, government identifiers, precise location, health information or other sensitive data unless doing so is strictly necessary, lawful and expressly agreed by Attensi in writing.
2.2 You must not discriminate against any person, carry out unlawful monitoring, publicly shame any person, expose individual performance without a proper basis, or make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
2.3 You must keep your credentials confidential and must not: (a) share Accounts other than through authorised features; (b) misrepresent your identity or authority; (c) create Accounts to evade enforcement action; (d) take over another person’s Account; or (e) register with a domain email address without the authority required by clause 3.2 of the QuizRace Terms of Use.
3 Service Integrity and Commercial Conduct
3.1 You must not, and must not assist any other person to: (a) gain unauthorised access to QuizRace; (b) probe or circumvent security measures; (c) introduce harmful code; (d) disrupt or overload QuizRace; (e) scrape or harvest data; (f) use unauthorised bots; (g) circumvent Plan limits; or (h) reverse engineer QuizRace beyond any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
3.2 You must not resell or sublicense QuizRace, provide bureau services, run unauthorised advertising, promotions, sales, paid training or paid events, charge Players, or otherwise conduct commercial activity, unless the applicable Paid Plan or a written agreement permits it. The Free Plan restrictions in clause 4.2 of the QuizRace Terms of Use apply independently of this clause.
3.3 You must not use QuizRace or its AI features to develop a competing model or service, to conduct unlawful profiling or surveillance, or as a substitute for qualified advice or validated assessment in a high-impact context.
3.4 You must not: (a) remove, obscure, alter, circumvent or misrepresent any marking, watermark, metadata or provenance signal applied to AI-generated output; (b) present AI output as human-authored or human-reviewed where it has not been so reviewed; or (c) use AI features to create a realistic synthetic depiction of a real person without the permissions and disclosures required by applicable law and the QuizRace Editorial Guidelines.
4 Reporting, Copyright and Enforcement
4.1 Illegal or harmful content should be reported to legal@attensi.com. Reports should include the quiz or Game identifier, the location of the content and the reasons for the report, your name and email address, and any supporting evidence. Reports are handled as described on the QuizRace Content Safety and Regulatory Information page.
4.2 Copyright notices and counter-notices under United States law must contain the elements set out in clauses 6.1 to 6.3 of the QuizRace Terms of Use and must be sent to Legal Department, Attensi AS, Forskningsparken, Gaustadalleen 21, 0349 Oslo, Norway, legal@attensi.com. Unless qualifying court proceedings are commenced, material that is the subject of a valid counter-notice may be restored not less than 10 and not more than 14 US business days after the counter-notice is forwarded. Attensi may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the Accounts of repeat infringers. Other rights-holders may submit notices to legal@attensi.com.
4.3 Attensi may investigate using human or automated tools and may restrict sharing, remove or reduce the visibility of material, stop a Game, limit features, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate an Account, or notify the relevant authorities. In doing so, Attensi will take into account the seriousness, context, intent, frequency and impact of the conduct and any previous conduct, and will act proportionately. Urgent cases may be dealt with without prior notice.
4.4 Where required by applicable law, Attensi will provide a statement of reasons and a means of complaint for a period of at least six months from the date of the decision. Nothing in this Policy imposes a general monitoring obligation or transfers responsibility for material away from the person or Organisation that provided it.
5 Changes to this Policy
5.1 Attensi may amend this Policy with immediate effect where reasonably necessary for reasons of safety, security or legal compliance. Any other material amendments will be made in accordance with clause 12 of the QuizRace Terms of Use.
