This AI Transparency Notice (“Notice”) explains how AI-assisted features operate within QuizRace, the respective roles of Attensi and Hosts, the disclosures presented in the product and the limitations that apply to AI output.
1 Scope and Roles
1.1 QuizRace provides AI-assisted quiz generation based on user prompts and uploaded material. Attensi acts as the provider of an AI system where it places that system on the market or puts it into service under the QuizRace name. A Host acts as a deployer when it selects, edits, presents, shares or publishes AI output. QuizRace has no other AI-assisted features. Attensi acts as the provider of this AI system, and as a deployer when it uses QuizRace itself.
1.2 The upstream model providers and models used in QuizRace are: Scaleway Generative APIs, operated by Scaleway in Paris, France, running Mistral Medium 3.5, a general-purpose AI model provided by Mistral AI. The entity placing each AI system into service is: Attensi AS.
2 Description of AI Functionality
2.1 AI-assisted features generate draft quiz questions, answers and related content based on prompts and uploaded material. Any other generative or classification uses are as follows: none.
2.2 QuizRace does not perform: (a) emotion recognition; (b) biometric categorisation; or (c) automated decision-making about individuals.
3 Disclosures in the Product
3.1 Hosts are informed that they are interacting with an AI system at each point where AI generation starts: the Generate with AI option when creating a quiz, the AI generation dialog in the quiz editor, and the /create page. The wording displayed is: “Generate with AI. Describe a topic and let AI draft questions”; “Generate Quiz with AI” or “Generate Questions with AI”; and “Type a topic, let AI build the questions”.
3.2 Players are informed that content has been generated by AI at the screen on which a Player joins a Game. The wording displayed is: “Questions may have been generated with AI”.
4 Marking of AI Output
4.1 The method and format used to mark AI output are: none, as AI output is not marked. The output types covered are: none. The output types not covered are: quiz questions and answer options, suggested quiz titles and suggested cover-image search phrases.
4.2 The upstream-provider marking relied on, and the applicable models, are: none. The technical limits of marking and detectability are: QuizRace does not record which saved questions were generated by AI, and a Host may edit AI output before saving it, so AI-generated questions cannot be distinguished from other questions once saved.
5 Human Oversight
5.1 All AI output is provided as a draft. Before presenting, sharing or publishing AI output, the Host must review it for accuracy, bias, audience suitability, confidential information, third-party rights and any required disclosures. Further guidance is set out in the QuizRace Editorial Guidelines.
6 Use of Data
6.1 As stated in clause 5.4 of the QuizRace Terms of Use, Attensi does not use Your Content, Player data, prompts or AI output to train general-purpose AI models, and requires any AI service providers acting on its behalf not to do so. Further information about the processing of personal data is set out in the QuizRace Privacy Policy.
7 Limitations
7.1 AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or non-unique, and may be subject to third-party rights. Similar output may be generated for other users. Human review does not remove the need to assess the intended audience and context of use.
8 Governance and Contact
8.1 The owner responsible for AI governance is Attensi’s Chief Technology Officer. Enquiries regarding AI may be directed to legal@attensi.com. This Notice was last reviewed on 25 September 2026.
